My story vessel is the shape of a baby bottle and the designs on it are baby feet, a butterfly, numbers (123), and the word maturity. The reason behind this piece is that we start off as babies and mature as we grow. We can use the analogy of taking baby steps and blossoming into a butterfly. The butterfly represents growth and the feet represents a journey to growth. The numbers represent the smallest ages because those are usually the ones were we begin to learn and see things. I also carved in a face on there to symbolize imagination. The overall story is development of maturity and growth because that's is what shapes us in one way.
I don't think there is anything you did wrong with your baby bottle. everything is on point, it really looks like a baby bottle.

ReplyDeleteThe pot looks nice and well done, but the lettering on this makes it feel too serious for what's being portrayed, maybe a different font would have been better.
